Electric vehicles (EVs) will transform the automobile industry. Approximately 70% of an EV’s parts are completely different from those used in a traditional internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicle. Alloy compositions of materials such as aluminum and steel are likely to be different from ICE. High-value materials such as lithium, cobalt, and nickel are especially important to EV production.
Through upcoming R&D projects, REMADE’s goal is to develop effective recycling technologies to address the significant increase in EV demand and ensure the recovery of High-value materials for use in future EV production.
