DOD Textile Circularity Market Research
REMADE will benchmark current DoD practices for disposition of End-of-Life textiles, identify potential pathways, key technologies, and potential barriers for development of textile circularity and develop recommendations for future progress in circularity, with respect to economic feasibility and sustainability.
NYS Waste Tire Project
REMADE is conducting a project to address waste tires in New York State (NYS) for the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC). An estimated 18 to 20 million used tires are generated in the state every year and about 29 million used tires are stockpiled across the Empire State.
The project will develop and administer two grant programs. One program will solicit and provide grants to New York State-based entities to develop technologies that lead to increased markets for used tires. The other program will solicit and provide grants to state-based entities for demonstration projects that increase the use of waste tires.
