Tire-Test Demonstration of Tire Cord Produced from High-Copper Content Scrap Steel

Missouri University of Science and Technology (MUST) and Michelin USA will demonstrate that tires produced with scrap steel components recovered from end-of-use tire cord and heat-treated to mitigate the effects of copper can deliver the same longevity and performance as those built from the current baseline materials with lower copper content.
