Developing Enterprise-Grade CAD Tools to Integrate Circularity in New Product Designs

RIT and Trane Technologies, along with project advisors Caterpillar and the Remanufacturing Industries Council, will deploy and demonstrate an enhanced version of PhoenixDFR™, the first CAD-integrated decision-support tool for Design for Remanufacturing, in operational settings representative of real-world industrial workflows. The enhancements include improvements identified during beta testing of PhoenixDFR™ as part of a prior REMADE-funded project and addressing enterprise-level cybersecurity considerations identified by the team’s industry partners.
