Component-Level Validation of Structural and Improved Non-Structural Secondary Aluminum Die Cast Alloys

Audubon Metals, The Ohio State University, and the North American Die Casting Association will validate the material properties of two structural alloys and one non-structural alloy the team developed as part of previous projects funded by REMADE. Following this, they will die-cast real-world automotive parts using industry equipment and processes and confirm they meet the performance and cost targets established by automotive companies and parts manufacturers.
