Bruyninckx to Present Flagship GRO 2024 Report at REMADE Conference
The REMADE Institute is pleased to announce that Hans Bruyninckx, a member of the UN Environment Programme's International Resource Panel (IRP) and former Executive Director of the European Environment Agency, will serve as a keynote speaker at our upcoming 2024 REMADE Circular Economy Technology Summit & Conference.
Dr. Bruyninckx will deliver a presentation on the IRP's Global Resources Outlook 2024 Report. The flagship GRO 2024 report, which will be formally released at the 6th UN Environment Assembly in Nairobi, Kenya, on March 1, describes how the pathway towards sustainability is increasingly steep and narrow, and how the window of opportunity is closing. According to the report, the key question is no longer whether a transformation towards global sustainable resource consumption and production is necessary, but how to make it happen now.
Don't miss this prime opportunity to hear more about the GRO 2024 report at our REMADE Conference, in-person, first-hand. For information on the report, go to IRP's website here.
Organized by REMADE in partnership with the Ellen MacArthur Foundation and with support from the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, our 2024 Conference will take place Wednesday and Thursday, April 10-11, 2024, at the National Academy of Sciences Building, 2101 Constitution Ave., N.W., in Washington, D.C.
Industry innovators, academic and national lab researchers, business leaders, public sector representatives, and others working to accelerate the transition to a Circular Economy - from university students just starting out, to international experts renowned in their fields - are strongly encouraged to attend this important thought-leadership event.
REMADE's inaugural 2023 Conference attracted more than 300 attendees and featured presentations on nearly 60 peer-reviewed papers. A recap of last year's event is available here.
