Speakers from four Manufacturing USA® institutes will discuss reimagining industrial energy use

To meet climate change goals, leveraging clean energy is critically important, but not enough to get us to net-zero emissions by 2050.

REMADE and our Manufacturing USA institute partners are headed to South by Southwest (SXSW 2024 Schedule) this March to discuss how we get all the way to net-zero. Our panel, “Reimagining Energy Use with Digital Technologies,” will discuss how circular economies, smart manufacturing, and increasing efficiency all have a part to play.

Industry is the single largest contributor to greenhouse gas emissions in the nation, at 30 percent. Changing how industry produces materials and products is unquestionably critical to achieving our nation’s climate goals.
