The REMADE℠ Institute of Sustainable Manufacturing Innovation Alliance Corp. (SMIA) recognizes the importance of protecting personal information and are committed to processing it responsibly and in compliance with applicable data protection laws.

We collect information that tells us how you interact with our services, such as your name, job title, organization, email address, the browser you are using, your IP address, location, cookies or other unique IDs, the pages you visit and features you use.

Except as stated below, the REMADE Institute will limit access to your personal information on a need-to-know basis and use it solely for the purpose of user authentication and navigation, improving your overall user experience, notifying you of upcoming events and changes in site content, responding to your requests for information and technical support, and tracking metrics and statistics for administrative, business intelligence and compliance purposes.

We use personal data you provide in registering for REMADE Institute-hosted events (“Events”) to administer your participation and may disclose your personal data to third parties engaged by the REMADE Institute to assist in the conduct of the Event. This may include information about the Event’s content, Event logistics, payment, updates, and additional information related to the Event. Where a REMADE Institute member provides personal information in connection with teaming opportunities through the Member Portal, we may share this information with other members solely for this purpose. We may also share personal information with state and federal government agencies, including our sponsoring agency the Department of Energy, only as necessary for performance of our funding agreements as set forth in contractual agreements with REMADE Institute member organizations and on an aggregated and/or anonymized basis where possible. Please note that in certain circumstances, personal information may be subject to disclosure to government agencies pursuant to judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process.
