Critical Mineral Panel Discussion
Recovering & Recycling Critical Minerals to Strengthen U.S. Supply Chain Resilience
Critical minerals are essential to modern life, powering everything from smartphones to vehicles to defense systems. In this session, industry innovators and other renowned expert panelists will discuss efforts across the U.S. and beyond to recover and recycle critical minerals, such as platinum group metals and rare earth elements, from end-of-life products, including electronics. Studies show that recovery and recycling of critical minerals could meet 40-60% — if not more — of the U.S’s demand by 2050.
