As Legal Counsel for the REMADE Institute, Kevin is responsible for developing and overseeing all contracts and agreements including partnership, membership and licensing agreements, as well as other legal activities on behalf of the Institute. Kevin provides advice on compliance and corporate governance, manages the documentation and filings for regulatory requirements and leads the IP management plan and technology commercialization agreements.
Previously, Kevin’s career at Xerox Corporation spanned 26 years. He served as an Associate General Counsel aligned to several business teams including the Global Development Group, Ink Jet and Novel Printing, Digital Manufacturing, Developing Market Operations and several delivery organizations. He joined the company as a patent attorney and held the role of Deputy General Patent counsel for many years. He also served as the lead program Intellectual Property attorney for several product lines.
Earlier in his career, Kevin worked for a firm that specialized in construction contract litigation. Kevin received his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Clarkson University. He earned an M.B.A. from the University of Rochester Simon School of Business and was admitted to the American Bar Association in New York State after receiving his Juris Doctor degree from the Albany Law School. Kevin is also a registered patent attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
